Clean away fouling on the sensor - Endress-Hauser: Turbimax CUS51D Sensor for turbidity and solids content (Immerse the sensor in 1 to 5% hydrochloric acid (for several minutes)

Lime and metal hydroxide buildup and low solubility organic buildup:

Dissolve buildup with diluted hydrochloric acid (5%) and then rinse thoroughly with plenty of clear water.

After cleaning, rinse the sensor thoroughly with water and then recalibrate
